His body didn't come down from heaven. He was here and was in heaven at the same time because he was God. John 4:24, God is a spirit.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

These scriptures were fulfilled in the second chapter of the book of Acts. Acts 2:38.
Jesus was the final Passover lamb. He purchased the church with His own blood, Acts 20:28.
In Exodus chapter 12 they observed the first Passover just before the children of Israel left Egypt. The blood of the Passover lamb was their salvation from the death angel. They had to apply that blood exactly like God told them to or the first born in every house would have died. God said, when I see the blood, I will pass over you Exodus 12:12-14. Israel was born as a nation.
In Leviticus 23, we have the feasts of the Lord:
On April 14 or the 14th day of the month, is the Passover. Leviticus 23:5. Jesus is our Passover lamb. I Corinthians 5:7.
April 15 the feast of unleavened bread. Leviticus 23:6 I Corinthians 5:8.
April 16 the feast of first fruits. I Corinthians 15:23. Christ the first fruits. A type of the resurrection of Christ.
June 6 - the feast of Pentecost. Pentecost is 50 days from first fruits from April 16 to June the 6th - 50 days from first fruits is the feast of Pentecost. Pentecost means 50.
Pentecost or 50 days counted from the first fruits not from the Passover. Passover a type of the crucification, first fruits a type of the resurrection. Pentecost - 50 days after the resurrection.
It is important to understand these feasts or celebrations to understand that the church was purchased with His own blood, and how the church was born on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Ghost was not poured out until the day of Pentecost was fully come. Acts 2:1-4.
Acts 2:5-13 - the people from the seventeen different nations gathered in Jerusalem that day were amazed, and in doubt, saying one to another, what meaneth this? Others mocking said, these men are full of new wine. But Peter standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea and all ye that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known unto you and hearken unto my words.
For these are not drunken as ye supposed, seeing it is but the third hour of the day, but this is that which was spoken of by the Prophet Joel.
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joel 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Joel 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered
Peter said, this is what Joel spoke of. Joel says, whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be delivered . Salvation is deliverance from sin. As Israel was delivered from Egyptian bondage, we are delivered from the bondage of sin. We are not saved in our sins, we are saved from our sins.
After Peter's sermon in Acts 2:14-36, in verse 36, Peter said therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made that same Jesus who you have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said, men and brethren, what shall we do. Acts 2:38 IS The Plan of Salvation
Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be Baptized, every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and all that are afar off. Meaning down through the ages, as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did He testify and exhort, saying, save yourself from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received His Word were baptized: the same day were added unto them about 3,000 souls.
